A sure fire way to get a laugh out of me every time. Oh how I miss this show.
246 : jersey shore
Guilty pleasure, I know, and I'm actually slightly embarrassed to say so, but I seriously look forward to new episodes of Jersey Shore. Some people are more than a little pathetic, but it's so ridiculous, it's funny. The bf couldn't believe I actually watched this show, but after an episode, he was hooked too (shh...he won't admit it). And this week, I was more than a little happy to get a double dose of JS Thursday night and tonight.
222 : weeds
I finally watched the season premier of Weeds last night. So glad it's back! MLP is hilarious. This show just seems to get better with time.
180 : good eats
I know some people don't get it, but I love Alton Brown's geeky knowledge of everything food related on Good Eats. I mean, seriously...he dedicated an entire half hour episode to mayo?
To those of you yet to see Good Eats, it's basically a cooking show combined with Bill Nye the Science Guy. Each episode is dedicated to one item (angel food cake, ground beef, fried chicken, asparagus, honey...almost anything you can think of) and provides an indepth look at that particular item or recipe, and even includes bits of trivia.
While the mayo episode may not have been relevant to my adventures in the kitchen, I love how he can spend an entire episode dedicated to one thing.
Currently in it's 14 season, so I'm obviously not the only food geek out there who loves this stuff...although the designer in me cringes at the sight of the logo and graphics.
148 : intervention
There are very few shows that I look forward to watching. Intervention is one of them. I don't know why I'm so fascinated by a show about addiction (particularly with drugs & alcohol) but I am. Some of the episodes are heart-breaking... to see how much pain people are in and what they do to themselves to try and escape that. It makes me glad that there is a show out there dedicated to getting these people well.
127 : hulu
I don't watch much tv the conventional way. It seems like it's only when the bf and I are together that we'll sit on the couch in front of the tube.
The majority of the time, all of my tv watching is done at hulu.com. Hulu offers both tv shows, as well as movies (although I never actually see any movies I want to watch on there), all for free. While you could go to each networks website to watch the episodes you missed, hulu offers everything in one place. Miss the last episode of Desperate Housewives? How about Family Guy? Yup. Hulu has you covered.
